Description: - Helping students at the welcome desk in building 700. - Refer and introduce students to resources on campus. - Attend enrollment workshops with WCC staff to assist students with the WCC application. - Support WCC outreach activities and events. - Lead campus tours (training will be provided) - Attend other matriculation trainings.
Qualifications: - Completed 1 semester or beyond at Woodland Community College - Completed at least 6 units each semester - Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at WCC (3 in the summer). - Minimum GPA of 2.5 and above / Be in Satisfactory Academic Progress - Bilingual is desirable but not required
Purpose: Support the events and activities of the Office of Student Engagement & Outreach.
Responsibility: These duties will ensure the Student Outreach Assistant supports the events and workshops of the Office of Student Engagement & Outreach
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm
