Murad Odeh

Dr. Murad Odeh, known to his students as Dr. O, is an Associate Professor at Ponce Health Sciences University, specializing in Medical Physiology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology. In addition to teaching, he currently serves as the Course Director for Medical Microbiology. Dr. Odeh holds a PhD in Microbiology and an MSc in Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University. His research focused on the role of curved DNA in RNA polymerase-promoter interactions in Bacillus subtilis.

Dr. Odeh has held significant positions throughout his career, such as Chair of the Biology Department and President of the Council of Chairs at South Texas College. He has demonstrated teaching versatility across online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats and collaborated with McGraw-Hill as a Digital Faculty Consultant. Furthermore, he is a visiting scholar at Southern California Health Sciences University. Dr. Odeh's commitment to education and student development is the cornerstone of his distinguished academic journey.
