Welcome Eagles and future Eagles. My name is Dinah Nucum.
I am a Communication Studies Instructor at Woodland Community College since 2019 and in the CSU (since 2015). You will find me around building 800 teaching public speaking, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, and argumentation.
I earned my Masters in Communication Studies from CSU, Northridge and my Bachelor's degree in Human Development from UC Davis. Since then, I serve various student populations in different colleges: University of Guam, CSU Northridge, and CSU Bakersfield where my role was as an educational specialist, academic advisor, and instructor. I love learning about how your experiences creativley connect them to the course you are taking.
When I am not teaching, I travel, design notebooks, and design infographics for educators.
Glad to have you here.
