Lynette Garcia

Lynette Garcia RN, MSN Ed has 20+ years of professional experience includes critical care nursing, staff development, online teaching, nursing program educator, consultant on the Health and Public Safety Building development, and assistant director of the Yuba College Nursing Program. She earned her Master's in Nursing Education at University of Phoenix, and her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chico State University. She is actively involved in community health initiatives and serves as a collaborator for partnerships with non-profit and governmental agencies. Lynette is a tenured nursing professor at Yuba College teaching medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and NCLEX preparation courses. In her role as a nursing faculty, she has developed and implemented many new training initiatives to enhance nursing student’s skills for the achievement of their educational goals. Lynette is constantly seeking creative ways to foster a dynamic learning environment and to promote high level patient care. She is excited to be serving as a professor for the Yuba College Nursing Program, facilitating life-long learning.
