Nicolas Depierola Alvarado

Nicolas DePierola is a wastewater professional with over a decade of experience in wastewater treatment operations. He currently serves as a Utilities Operations Manager and holds a California Grade V Wastewater Operator certification, along with water treatment and distribution certifications. Nicolas earned an Associate of Science degree in Water Technology and has worked in municipal wastewater operations, process control, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.

His goal as an instructor is to help students connect classroom concepts to real-world plant operations and prepare them for successful careers in the water and wastewater industry.

Nicolas is passionate about operator training, workforce development, and helping the next generation of water professionals succeed.
