Welcome Eagles and future Eagles.
My name is Dinah Nucum. I am a Communication Studies Instructor at Woodland Community College since 2019 and in the CSU (since 2015). I earned my Masters in Communication Studies from CSU, Northridge and my Bachelor's degree in Human Development from UC Davis. Since then, I serve various student populations in different colleges: University of Guam, CSU Northridge, and CSU Bakersfield where my role was as an educational specialist, academic advisor, and instructor.
In my classes, expect to be 'exercising' your communication skills through hands-on activities designed to build confidence and real-world experience. I believe learning works best when students feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to step outside their comfort zones. You will find me around building 800 teaching public speaking, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, and argumentation.
When I am not teaching, I am also a website designer, enjoy bullet journaling, and traveling.
Glad to have you here.

This count includes only views we can identify as human. Search engines and AI crawlers made up a large share of the previous figure — one crawler alone viewed every profile on this site twice in two days.
Counting under the new method began in August 2026, so this number reflects recent views rather than a running total. It will grow as the term progresses.
