Hi! I'm Gina Jones and I am tenured English faculty (mostly) at the Lake Campus. Usually, students will find me as an ENGL 1A, ENGL 1X, ENGL 1B, ENGL 1C, and ENGL 31 instructor. I would love to invite you to email me with any questions you may have about any English course you are interested in taking. Additionally, taking one of my courses means you are likely to have the opportunity to go on cool field trips like a creative writing conference or the Oregon Shakespeare festival!
On the Lake Campus, I am the faculty advisor for the Associated Students of Lake County Campus (which is our student body government organization), and I am the faculty advisor for the Lake County Campus Student Success Center (which is our free tutoring center). If you are interested in learning more about either of these programs that I advise, please feel free to send me an email. I am also knowledgeable in many of our other student programs such as, DSPS (Department of Special Programs and Services that supports students with learning challenges and physical limitations), EOPS (an amazing program for low-income, first-generation college students), CARE (another amazing program for parents attending college courses), and accessing our Basic Needs Center (a center on campus that provides students and the community with free groceries, clothing, hygiene products, and school supplies). If you are interested in learning more about any of these programs or services offered to students, please send me an email!
Outside of the classroom, I love to take on big cooking projects, taking too many pictures of my puppy, and weightlifting at the gym.
Helping my students succeed inside and beyond my class is the best part of my job! I look forward to helping you grow in your reading and writing as well as shaping your future plans!

This count includes only views we can identify as human. Search engines and AI crawlers made up a large share of the previous figure — one crawler alone viewed every profile on this site twice in two days.
Counting under the new method began in August 2026, so this number reflects recent views rather than a running total. It will grow as the term progresses.
