Greetings,
I'm a Composition & Literature instructor and have been in service at community colleges in the valley for about 17 years. I hold a Bachelor's in Journalism and a Master's in English.
I've lived for a time in several places and like to travel. Visiting about 30 American states has offered me a host of wonderful experiences. Working and living in Spain is a highlight of my international adventures.
There's perhaps nothing more rejuvenating to me, however, than going to the ocean and mountains with my wife and pups. Nature draws me to it―whether through the sounds, smells, and sights stored in my memory from childhood trips with family, or through certain writers where the natural world takes form in language. Still, directly experiencing nature has no substitute! To spend significant time surrounded by the complex beauty of the unspoiled natural world is a wonder.
Of course, I love writing and literature. It's my job and my passion to make my life's work in these areas. It's also my job to assist you on your way to becoming proficient with literacy, as this area of learning will be vital to your academic success. And, who knows? Perhaps literacy, in all its forms, may also prove to be invaluable to your personal and professional life beyond college. Please feel free to lean on me for all your coursework ambitions.
