I was born and raised in Fresno County and am the proud daughter of retired farmworkers. I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, where I double-majored in Sociology and Social Welfare. For seven years, I worked in K–12 public education across Colusa, Yolo, and Solano counties. In 2024, I became the first in my family to earn a graduate degree, completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Community Health Promotion from the University of Southern California. I currently work full-time in the field of public health, where I focus on health equity for children and youth with special health care needs.
