Hey everyone! I'm Nicolas Hernandez, and I'm excited to say this is my first year teaching at Woodland Community College. I graduated from Woodland Community College back in 2019 and then made my way to UC Davis, where I wrapped up my degree in 2021. Just this past October 2023, I proudly earned my master's in English.
I'm super stoked about sharing my love for learning English. English covers reading, writing, and, of course, speaking – all awesome stuff! My goal is to make our class fun, engaging, and unforgettable.
Fun fact: I used to be the kind of person who didn't really enjoy reading. But guess what? Now, I'm into all those books I was assigned during undergrad like Oroonoko, Canterbury Tales, Beowulf, and 19th Century British Literature. On a lighter note, I'm a big fan of catching Steph Curry's three-pointers at the Chase Center! Outside of class, I'm all about soccer, running, and hitting the gym. I'm here to inspire you and help you become the best version of yourself.
