Welcome to my Webpage! My name is Brandi Asmus, and I am the Agriculture Instructor at Woodland Community College. I have been teaching in the Agriculture department since 2008, but have instructed other courses here at Woodland since 2006. I have also had the opportunity to teach at Sierra College and CSU Chico. I graduated from U.C. Davis in 2003, with my Master of Science degree in Animal Science. I spent 2 years in the private sector, working on research and development in the food industry. But, I realized quickly, that my calling was in education and teaching others. Which brings me to where I am today. I am a strong advocate for community college education, and developing strong leaders in each of my students. I currently serve as the faculty mentor for the Agriculture Leadership group on campus, where students are given the opportunity to learn leadership skills, and put them into action!
