Julie Brown

Hi! My name is Julie Brown and I am currently one of two full time Chemistry Instructors here at Woodland Community College.

Before arriving here at WCC, I taught 13 years at our sister college Yuba College. There I taught Chemistry, Math, Physical Science and PE!

I attended graduate school at UC Davis and soon figured out that although I liked Chemistry, I liked teaching Chemistry much more than doing it!

After graduate school I taught part time at Diablo Valley College, American River College, Skyline College and Los Medanos College.

Chemistry is such a huge part of life and I hope students leave my classes knowing even a little bit about that connection.
