The spring play, Airness by Chelsea Marcantel , will be presented by the Yuba College Theatre Department. The story follows Nina, who enters her first air guitar competition with the belief that winning will be easy. However, as she befriends a group of charismatic nerds who are all committed to becoming the next champion, she discovers that air guitar is more than just playing pretend. It's about finding yourself in your favorite songs and performing with raw joy. Will Nina be able to let go and set herself free onstage? 

Airness is a comedy about competition and discovering the airness within yourself. 

The performances are scheduled to take place from April 19 to April 28, 2024. The shows will begin at 7:30 pm, except for the final Sunday performance on April 28th, which will start at 2:00 pm.
